What does free actually include?
Gateway is free forever, everything in it. Workforce Community is a self-hosted single company with all nine agent adapters. Agent Browser Dev gives you one concurrent session and the full API and MCP surface. Capture is free including OCR and evidence packages. Vault is free for one enrolled gateway. Free means free, not a trial, and none of them require an account to start.
How does checkout work today?
ByteDesk Store is the commerce rail: catalog, license keys, entitlements, usage metering, and ed25519-signed artifacts. The catalog, entitlement, and signed-download path is real and smoke-tested end to end. The card step is the honest gap: Stripe is still in mock billing mode while keys go live, so every buy button on this page routes to a short form. We reply with an invoice or a checkout link, and no page here pretends to charge a card it cannot charge.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes. Annual is ten times the monthly price across the suite, so two months are free. Capture Pro also has a $60 per year founding license.
Can I self-host the paid products?
Yes. Paid tiers are licensed, not hosted. Vault, Workforce, Agent Browser, and Agent Memory all run on your own infrastructure; Store checks the entitlement and serves signed packages that your host verifies against the published trust key before anything runs.
What happens when an entitlement lapses?
Free tiers keep working. Paid packages stop downloading and paid features stop at the entitlement boundary, which Store enforces with a clean refusal rather than a silent degradation. Nothing you already installed is remotely deleted.
Do I buy ByteDesk Store?
No. Store is never sold. It is how selling works for everything else in the suite, and you can self-host your own copy of it for free if you want the rail without the hosted service.
